The Reactor 140 (W44) is a shock absorber compatible with various I or Y lanyard webbing types, designed for users with a maximum weight of 140 kg including equipment. Well suited to workers on structures, ladders, and pylons, it has a low weight and practical shape that doesn't restrict movement at work.

  • Available in multiple variants combining six webbing/lanyard types with three connector types
  • Optional lanyard lengths to suit diverse work needs
  • Webbing lanyards tested for horizontal use and simulated falls over an edge (see RFU 11.074 in the catalogue sheet)
  • Cover made of black synthetic rubber and Cordura with PU coating
  • Zipper around the perimeter for easy inspection of the energy absorber
  • Orange indicator threaded through the attachment loops gives a fast, visible check on whether the energy absorber has activated or been damaged
  • Any EN 362 certified connector can be sewn into the attachment loop
  • Lanyards with a light alloy ring or textile eye can be shortened in half
  • Different webbing lengths available on customer request
  • Each unit carries a unique production number for traceability and inspection
