The Reactor 140 (W44) is a shock absorber compatible with various I or Y lanyard webbing types, designed for users with a maximum weight of 140 kg including equipment. It's available in multiple variants combining six webbing/lanyard types with three connector types, with optional lanyard lengths to suit diverse work needs.
It's well suited to workers on structures, ladders, and pylons, with a low weight and practical shape that doesn't restrict movement at work. The webbing lanyards have been tested for horizontal use and simulated falls over an edge (see RFU 11.074 in the catalogue sheet).
The cover is made of black synthetic rubber and Cordura with PU coating, with a zipper around the perimeter for easy inspection of the energy absorber. An orange indicator threaded through the attachment loops shows fast, visible confirmation if the energy absorber has activated or been damaged. Any EN 362 certified connector can be sewn into the attachment loop, and lanyards with a light alloy ring or textile eye can be shortened in half. Different webbing lengths are available on customer request, and each unit carries a unique production number for traceability and inspection.
